Keith Kehrer - Voice Overs at Voice123.com Keith Kehrer - Voice Overs at Interactivevoices.com Keith Kehrer BioKeith was raised in Middletown, New Jersey, and began piano and voice lessons from the age of 4 with Tom Davis, who studied with Leontyne Price's teacher. Throughout his school years, he studied classical and popular music and sang in variety of bands, orchestras, sang and acted in plays and musicals and developed his ability to mimic sounds and voices. He also acted and sang in the Middletown, New Jersey Kings Players local theater group. While in the Army, between 1977 and 1980, he sang, played saxophone, clarinet, piano and bass, and wrote and arranged and ran the recording studio for the 389th Army Band in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He studied with the voice teacher, Hilda Stickle and Lois Ketcham in New Jersey. After the Army, Keith played and did studio and jingle work in New Jersey, New York City and toured the U.S. in a number of jazz, rock, salsa, and fusion groups. Upon moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1980, Keith sang and played with various pop, R&B, punk and rock bands. He also wrote, arranged, and did vocal and studio work in the Phoenix area. In 1989, he started a business, Kamakaze Music and Kamakaze Productions, in which he taught voice and music, and produced demos, albums, CDs. Keith is a classically trained vocalist whose varied background allows him to perform in many moods, genres and characters. Since moving to the Washington D.C. area in 2001, he has built a fully equipped project studio, which allows him to record all music and voice-overs on the premises.
