About the band

Thunderthing was originally a demo project that Keith Kehrer was working on while in another band. He wanted to try and marry rock, arabic music funky beats and sex into one recording. Soon after that band broke up he contacted his old drummer a bass player and guitar player he knew and a 8 string bass player/poet. This incarnation of the band played the Phoenix/Tempe Arizona for a while until the guitar player left and Keith assumed guitar as well as vocal duties. It went through a few more changes over the next five years until it was whittled down to a just Keith, the original bass player and a power house drummer. This is the lineup on the five song cd. as they say, "it rawks!"
